When one gets in bed with government, one must expect the diseases it spreads.
When the federal government spends more each year than it collects in tax revenues, it has three choices: It can raise taxes, print money, or borrow money. While these actions may benefit politicians, all three options are bad for average Americans.
Ron Paul's Record Online Haul
Today, Nov. 5, marks not only Paul's best fundraising haul in a single day -- more than $3.5 million by 9 p.m. EST -- but online observers say it's also the most money raised by a candidate on the Web in a single day. And the day's not over yet. "Damn. Wow. Um, that's pretty awesome," said a stunned Jerome Armstrong who served as Howard Dean's online strategist. Armstrong, the founder of the popular blog MyDD, said Dean raised as much as $700,000 in one day toward the end of the primary race. "But not a million," Armstrong added. "What Paul is doing -- or what his supporters are doing -- is really impressive."
Ron Paul's $4.2 Million Record-Setting Day
Trying to catch up in a race that is leaving many in the dust, Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul made some forward progress Monday by putting $4.2 million in his fundraising bank -- a one-day record for a GOP candidate.
Paul's contributions registered for a 24-hour period ousted Mitt Romney as the GOP record holder for single-day donations.
Why not help a real conservative out? He may well be the only guy that can beat Hillary.
Gudy will never pull it off.
I've donated again, and my bumper stickers are on the way.
And don't forget to vote today.
I wonder if there are any libertarians running where I live....
