Time to dust off ye olde blogge and fire up the Mr. Completely's April Epostal Contest:  Great Balls of "Fire!"

Of course, you will need a PDF reader to open and print the target.  If you don't have one, get it here:  Adobe Reader.

Download the target here:  Great Balls of "Fire!"

The Details:

DISTANCE: 25 feet, or 10 yards, which ever is available at your range.

SHOOTING POSITION
: Standing, unsupported.

HOW TO SHOOT IT/SCORING: There are 15 balls, and you get 15 shots for the target.

Balls 1-5 are shot right-handed.

Balls 6-10 are shot left-handed.

Balls 11-15 are shot with both hands (or either single hand if you're feeling particularly badass!).

A hit on a ball count as one point. Hits touching or inside the circle containing a given ball's number counts as two points.   Any round that breaks/touches a line counts as a hit.  You are only allowed one hit per ball!! Two or more hits on a ball will count as one hit (whichever one is highest) - ex - a 1, 1, and 2 hit on ball 7 would be 2 points.
A perfect score is 30 points.

CLASSES (as usual, blatantly stolen from Mr. Completely):

CLASS ONE: Any rimfire handgun with no more than a 12" barrel, iron sights.

CLASS TWO
: Any rimfire handgun with no more than a 12" barrel, optic sights, no magnification.

CLASS THREE
: Any centerfire (non-revolver) handgun with no more than a 12" barrel, iron sights.

CLASS FOUR
: Any centerfire (non-revolver) handgun with no more than a 12" barrel, optic sights, no magnification.

CLASS FIVE
: Any revolver with no more than a 12" barrel, iron sights.

CLASS SIX
: Any revolver with no more than a 12" barrel, optic sights, no magnification.

CLASS SEVEN
: Any handgun with no more than a 14" barrel, any sights, scopes, laser, whatever. This class is primarily for target pistols.

CLASS EIGHT
: This would be the "other" classification.  If you have something that doesn't fit the other seven catagories, shoot it anyway!! Rifles, golf ball cannons, full-auto, 50 BMGs, GE Miniguns, Dylan Aero's, sling-shots. cross-bows, or Archer Fish. Just let me know the distance and details of the item.  All comers welcome.

Ties will be decided by me based on...something (most number-circle shots...).

MULTIPLE ENTRIES: You can enter more than once.  In fact, it is encouraged. Shoot everything you own, and everything you can borrow! Take friends, relatives, and (especially) new shooters to the range. The only restriction is that you can only enter once for any given gun, in any individual Class.

Winners of each category will be classified as winners!  And if you're in NW Ohio, a nice shot of Wild Turkey Rare Breed will greet you. ;)

ENTRY INSTRUCTIONS:  Email your digitally scanned or photographed target (as well as questions or comments) to:

cugblog(at)msn(dot)com

Deadline: 12:00AM Saturday May 3, 2014  (gives you through Friday....)

DO NOT email targets to the email link on the blog.  Include the name you want used in the contest, the distance you shot, your score, the class of target you're entering, type and caliber of firearm (or whatever) used and any interesting info regarding the firearm and/or your the shooting experience.

Be safe, have fun, and (just like last year) QUIT BUYING UP ALL THE DANG 22 AMMO!!!  I need some! Now go forth, and FIRE!!

Thinking of me, eh?
I have a black powder golf ball cannon. Now imagine 15 golf-ball sized holes in an 8-1/2x11 sheet of paper...

Maybe if I load them 2 at a time...

Maybe if I just use a sabot and the pedal air gun...definitely NOT in the back yard. Those things bounce.

But the possibilities boggle the mind.
